In the early 80's I was in High school and was focused on drawing, I took a few High School drawing classes, but in general I was self taught and was the go to guy in class to help draw something if needed. In 1983 I entered the University of the Pacific as a business major. I took a few drawing classes as electives and got to know some of the professors who suggested that I try painting. To this point the only painting I had done was on poster boards or walls at my home. On of my Professors, Gil Dellinger, at the time the head of the Department, encouraged m to take Painting 101 with him. From that point on I was hooked, in fact I left the Business School and became a full time Art Student and switched my Major to Fine Arts.
